Simon Cowell: The Next Act
Simon Cowell has shaped some of the biggest pop acts of the last two decades; artists who defined eras, soundtracked youth, and dominated charts worldwide. Now, he’s stepping into a new chapter… and we were there as it unfolded.
Simon Cowell: The Next Act, produced by Box To Box Films, arrives on Netflix on 10 December, offering an unfiltered look at Simon as he sets out to build a brand-new boy band for the next generation. From open casting calls to the high-pressure world of modern pop creation, this series captures the ambition, intensity, and instinct that have powered his career.
For Box To Box, this project marks something different, a shift beyond sport into another global arena where stakes, identity, and obsession collide. And yet, at its core, The Next Act sits firmly in our wheelhouse: high-pressure environments, big characters, raw emotion, and the relentless drive to succeed.

Across the series, audiences encounter Simon Cowell both as they know him and in a more unexpectedly intimate light. The sharp, uncompromising instincts are still there, but we also see the vulnerability and determination required to build something from zero.
The process is messy, competitive, and high-pressure, powered by the same tension that drives every Box To Box story: people putting everything on the line to chase something bigger than themselves.

The series is executive produced by Simon Cowell, James Gay Rees, Paul Martin, Warren Smith, Cassie Bennitt and Katy Fox, with Tayla Richardson serving as Co-Executive Producer. Produced by Box To Box Films in partnership with Syco Entertainment.
Simon Cowell: The Next Act premieres 10 December only on Netflix.
