December 10 Step Beyond the Series With First Official Music Video
Following the global launch of Simon Cowell: The Next Act, which debuted Top 3 on Netflix in its first week, the series’ breakout band December 10 have taken their first step beyond the screen with the release of their debut performance video.
Formed over the course of the six-part Netflix series, December 10 are made up of Cruz, Danny, Hendrick, John, Josh, Nicolas and Sean. Built in real time, under real pressure and in front of a global audience, the group has now transitioned from documentary subjects to a fully fledged band entering the pop landscape. Since the show’s release, the band have also signed to EMI, marking a major milestone in their journey.
The new music video was directed by Box To Box Films’ Warren Smith and produced by Cassie Bennitt. Shot as a live acoustic session, the performance carries the energy and authenticity that defined the band’s formation on screen, extending Simon Cowell: The Next Act beyond the series and into global pop culture.
Since launch, December 10 have quickly gained momentum beyond Netflix. Within days, the band’s social following surged, with TikTok growing to over 250K followers and Instagram surpassing 100K. The response underlines the series’ impact as a launch platform, not just a documentary.
The release of December 10’s first official music video signals the beginning of the band’s next chapter and reinforces Box To Box’s ability to create stories that do not end at release, but continue to grow across platforms, formats and culture.
