FACEOFF: INSIDE THE NHL RETURNS FOR SEASON TWO
We’re back on the ice.
FACEOFF: Inside the NHL returns to Prime Video this October, bringing viewers even closer to the pressure, intensity, and emotional stakes of life inside the world’s toughest league. Season two premieres globally on October 3, streaming in over 240 countries and territories.
At the heart of the series is a growing cast of athletes navigating the realities of fame, pressure, and identity in one of the most physically demanding sports on earth. We follow Brady Tkachuk as he steps out from the shadow of his Stanley Cup-winning brother. We reflect on the tragic loss of Johnny Gaudreau and the teammates and loved ones who carry his legacy forward. Across the season, we spend time with Sidney Crosby, Anže Kopitar, William Nylander, Brad Marchand, Seth Jarvis, and Zach Werenski each confronting their own version of leadership, expectation, and evolution.
Season two offers a more intimate look at the game’s emotional core, exploring what it means to lead, to grieve, to rebuild, and to chase greatness in a sport where everything can change in a moment.
Produced by Box To Box in collaboration with NHL Productions, with support from Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios.
Executive producers are Paul Martin and James Gay-Rees (Box To Box), Steve Mayer (NHL Productions), and Daniel Amigone.
All six episodes premiere October 3, only on Prime Video.
